YRA Party circuit ... Division 1st Place
YRA HDA Division ,,, 1st Place ....
The GREAT Vallejo Race 1st overall...
RYA Drakes Bay race #2 ( Ocean race ) 1st OVERALL !
SFYC Staff Commodors cup , 3rd Place , for the second year ...
SFYC , Leukemia Cup , 2nd place .... and
the YRA Champion of Champions 4th place overall ....
AND last but NOT least , on a whim we showed up for the SFYC Round the Island race , Boy what a ride that one was , a Cal20 with no reef points sailing with the spinakker in 40 knots ! ! ! GET IN , HOLD ON and SHUT UP ! ,,, Wild and just slightly out of control !
1st Place ! and a SFYC club race at that !
I am posting this to encourage any and ALL Cal20 owner's ,, The boat is stable in up to 25 knots , allthough it will require a steady run of maitenance when racing her hard ,,, We race on an average of 3 times a month with monthly work day's for the boat...
We did miss about five races this last year due to the economy ,, Had to try and make money instead of have fun ... Good luck and GET THAT Cal20 out in the water !
